Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.has announced that it will begin selling its Galaxy S smart phone in South Korea. The Galaxy S is the latest phone to be introduced into a very crowded smart phone market. Samsung, the world’s second largest maker of cell phones by shipments, is hoping that the Galaxy S will help them catch up to other smart phone manufacturers such as Apple and Research In Motion.
The Galaxy S is 9.9 millimeters thick and features a 1-gigahertz CPU and 16 gigbytes of storage space. The phone also has a 4-inch AMOLED screen and a 5 mega pixel camera.
