More component problems with HTC, this time the Desire

You may have read a recent article I wrote about Droid Incredible’s not being shipped, well HTC’s shortage has affected another phone, The Desire. This time, however, the delay is voluntary. U.S. Cellular has chosen to delay the device so that they can have a larger inventory. They are doing this because, they don’t want to experience a shortage like the Incredible previously mentioned, and the Evo 4g. You may be wondering why is there problems with both the Incredible and now the Desire. Well, the reason is that they both use the same AMOLED screen which HTC is having trouble acquiring from Samsung.
