Sony Ericsson, the maker of the X10 is trying to have a smartphone priced for everybody. Currently, they have the X10 but they are working on the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro. Both of these phones are lower end versions of the normal X10. Even though it seems with all of these phones that they have their bases covered, Sony Ericsson believes that they don’t. That is why they plan to release a mid-ranged device, the XPERIA X8. Unfortunately there aren’t any specs currently released right now, the only thing we do know is that it is said to run the X10 Mini’s UI as opposed to the full Sony Ericsson Timescape UI. Some people expect the X8 to have specs similar to other mid-ranged Android devices currently out and being announced. This speculation would make sense, however, we won’t know anything for sure until something official is released.
