$125 Android Tablet Now Available

This is by no means the iPad killer that the Android community has been waiting for but for many, it is a step in the right direction. Affordable, functional and Android based, this tablet was quick to market, well before big companies like HP. Being one of the first is pretty much all this tablet has going for it. The specs are listed below, some things of note is the VIA WM8505 ARM926 processor which, some report, has an equivalent processing speed of 300Mhz. Couple that with 256MB of RAM and you got some sluggish usability. Another, particular item of note is that it is running the secret Android OS 1.7 which seems have been developed with tablets in mind. The screen is a 7″ high-brightness TFT LCD wide screen touch display with a resolution of 800×480. Definitely won’t be turning any heads. This is however, an entry level tablet, functional with a low price point. We are going to see many more iterations of Android Tablets in the coming months.
