For those looking for an alternative to the Android Market, a newcomer has just arrived. General Mobile has just started showing off it’s very own app store. The General Mobile StoreOid App Store will come pre-installed on General Mobile devices, but it should also work on any Android device running 1.6 or later. Currently that is over 75% of the devices out there (and shrinking).
The store only offers free apps, as it currently stands. However, General Mobile plans to add direct carrier billing and credit card support in time.
