The pre-orders started rolling in last month for the Huawei tablet via Expansys USA. The ship date was July 7th, and has been pushed back to September 6th. Expansys is offering another model which is almost identical to the S7, but it comes with a 32GB SDHC card. The price tag on that tablet is $459.
Hm, interesting. Since the only difference between the two models is the bundling of a high capacity SDHC card, we cant help but wonder if Expansys could start selling the cheaper model this week too. Its deciding to only offer the more expensive model due to limited supply and the urge of them to make a bit more cash.
Its possible that one or both ship dates are wrong, or that Expansys is receiving units bundled with SD cards in the same box DIRECTLY from Huawei and has no control over the availability of different versions. As the sole US retailer for the device (at the moment) it would be nice to do us all a favor and put an accurate ship date on their web site for us.
