Developers, Get Ready to Make Apps for the Adam Tablet

From what we’ve seen so far, it doesn’t look like stock Android versions 2.1 and 2.2 are ready for the tablet form factor, which is why Notion Ink has been getting some great designers to take care of that. But something just as important as the UI was the access to the Android Market. While they have announced that Adam will get access to it, Notion Ink wasn’t sure when they started making the Adam tablet, if Google will ever give access to the Market to any tablet maker.

This is how they’ve decided to make their own SDK, called Genesis (Adam, Genesis..get it?), and get developers to create apps that are tailored to the tablet form factor, and to their own UI.

So, now, they’ve just announced their 300+ already signed-up developers that the Genesis SDK is going to be released in the coming weeks. If you want to become a developer for Adam and take advantage of the powerful Tegra 2 chip, Unreal 3 engine support, and other Adam features, send Notion Ink an e-mail at [email protected]
