I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Droid X from Verizon has had its shipping date pushed back. It seems every new phone runs into demand issues and Verizon is having its share of demand problems with the Droid Incredible and the Droid X. Both of these pones offer ultra fast processors and are loaded with cool new features like dual LED flash on the Droid X. We know the problem with the Droid Incredible by HTC. HTC is having a hard time getting screens from Samsung for their phone. Samsung is busy filling inventory all over with their Galaxy S line. It is for this reason that HTC is switching to Super LCD screens from Sony for future production. We do not know what the problem is with the Droid X. Let’s hope that the new ship date of September 6th does not get bumped. The gallery below offers some other ship dates that Verizon has posted for the Droid X.
