App Name: G4 by Comcast Entertainment Group
Description: With the G4 App you can get the latest, up to the minute gaming news, insider game reviews and cheats and a ridiculous amount of videos from your favorite G4 shows.
How it Works: G4 is a video game cable channel, so the G4 app is all about video games. There are four options to view content on the app: News, Games, Videos and More. With News you can see interviews or news about upcoming games. Videos gives you videos like trailers for games or insider videos about game development. Games is a section to see game reviews, videos, cheats, etc for specific games. The More section gives info on other TV shos on the G4 channel which some are game related but some aren’t. Cheats for games which gives for popular games and recent games also. This app has all the systems covered from Xbox 360 and PS 3 to PC games. If you can’t find what you’re looking for there is a search button in the upper right corner.
There are plenty of games to read up on and videos to watch. Videos also worked well on 3g and didn’t require wifi like the market stated it would so that was a plus.
Opinion: I used to be a video game fan back when I had my Xbox and PS2, but now I just like reading about them and this app is sweet. Videos are very nice and the game reviews are done with an eye for detail. There was a ton of Starcraft 2 videos to keep me occupied for days. The app was slow at times and the videos were choppy sometimes but mostly the app worked well.

Cons:

Conclusion: Overall, this app is good to gamers of all sorts to find good content about games but as someone who doesnt indulge in games I was able to find plenty of watch and read about.
