Corning Inc announced on Monday that they designed the glass that makes the Samsung Galaxy S display sturdy. Corning Gorilla glass is used as a protective cover and is earth-friendly. The glass consists of an ultra durable alkali-aluminosilicate that can resist almost all scratches due to the chemical properties of the glass.
The Samsung Galaxy S phone boasts a 4 inch super AMOLED touchscreen which provides a beautiful, crisp, and vibrant look. Although not the reason for the brilliant display of the Galaxy, Gorilla glass certainly gives you that peace of mind of knowing that your phone is a durable, high-quality product with a protective screen.
