Toshiba announced that it will be releasing its first PC based tablet running android around September / October. Featuring Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor and a 10 inch screen, global shipments are expected to be 40,000 – 50,000 units by the end of 2010. Other new comers to the Android Tablet market are IBM with LePad, Acer’s tablet with a Qualcomm CPU, and HP is also said to have a tablet in the works coupled with a printer package deal. All tablets are expected to be release before the end of the year. The only exception is Asustek’s Eee Pad which we are expected to see by March 2011.
