Verizon Is Pushing Android Froyo to All Droid Owners

Whether you’ve rooted your Droid or not, don’t worry – you’re going to receive the Froyo update. Those of you who played nice with their Droid, are going to receive a filled called “FRG22D”, which is 45 MB in size, while those who have rooted their phones, are going to receive a bigger update called “Full FRG01B”, which is 75 MB in size. Both updates should contain plenty of bug fixes, besides the Froyo core files.

One of the biggest reasons people have been waiting for Froyo, besides the increase in performance, is Flash. So once you’re fully updated, make  sure you go straight to the Android market and download Flash player 10.1. After that you can start enjoying the full web experience and some Flash games from Kongregate.com
