Google sent out an announcement that on today on August 12th they will be unveiling some cool new mobile features. There is much speculation on what this could mean. The last time Google made such a proclamation we were given Google Maps Navigation.
Some blogs are reporting changes in the Android Market’s interface, though I cannot confirm any changes have been made to icons within the market as of yet. One big theory, and it can be verified throughout the web, is Google will implement new application purchasing options such as the ability to add the purchase price of applications to the user’s cell phone bill. T-Mobile has been the only cellular company to allow this option, but hopefully more will follow. Many Android developers see this as a way to encourage more customers to shop in the paid apps section of the market.
I can’t wait to see what Google unveils ..what do you think is next from them?
