DoubleTwist Brings Out New Features

The popular syncing client for desktop, DoubleTwist, which is about to hit 1 million users in September, wants to become “iTunes for Android”. So they launched a new and revamped website that puts them more in line with that idea.

It will soon have support for Amazon MP3 Music Store, which is a great move because Amazon is pretty much the only iTunes competitor when it comes to buying music online. Unless Google announces something great later this fall – their rumored Google Music service. But Google might already integrate that with Android 3.0.

Another great feature that DoubleTwist is launching is the ability to install apps from the web, just like AppBrain does it, and Google will allow for it soon, too. DoubleTwist will soon include an FM radio feature and connection through Wi-Fi.
