It looks like Verizon has had enough waiting for Samsung to supply more AMOLED screens. It is being reported that Verizon has decided to make the change from the AMOLED screens to the SLCD screens for their Droid Incredible. The scarcity of the AMOLED screens have caused a lot of inventory issues for the Droid Incredible in the past few months and it seems appropriate that Verizon would change to another screen because of it. It can be speculated upon that the reason for the scarcity is because of Samsung’s Galaxy line of phones. Now the real question is, is anyone really going to notice the difference?
