Some people have said for a while that Flash has poor performance overall, but especially on mobiles – including Steve Jobs who doesn’t want it on his iPhone, and promotes HTML5 instead. But Flash came to Android and it showed that it can have good performance, at least on the mobile optimized Flash sites.
Today, an ActionScript developer tested Flash and HTML5 Canvas using the exact same code, and it seems that Flash beat HTML5 in performance by quite a bit.
