Reports are coming in from TechCrunch that Google’s next major push for there Android Operating System is to tap small businesses. Services like Yelp, Four Square and recently Facebook have been growing there “check-in” services and now Google wants a piece of that. Sources are saying that Google will provide small businesses millions of Android devices will be given to small business owners to use as a “check-in” and review type activity. While there isn’t much info on it what we can tell you is that Google will provide the first set of headsets for no charge and when this program grows that may change. Besides just using this service as a “check-in’s” and reviews they will also incorporate Google Check-Out so patrons can also buy products as well. If this means in the future Google will launch its own Application for Android phones and others there is no word yet just that they will provide headsets. While some may see this as Google just trying to get a piece of everything it infact will help the consumers as being able to get reviews on places before they go and businesses on what they possibly need to work on. Package this with all Android phones as a “stock” Android Application and quickly they will go right to the top of the “Check-in” services.
