Google TV to launch October 17 at Best Buy

Back in May at I/O, Google announced Google TV, a multi-media center that would allow you to not only watch content from the internet, and other websites like Amazon VOD and Netflix, but also from your cable provider. They even had partners already, like Sony, making a Google TV enabled HDTV, and Logitech set-top boxes for Google TV. Other accessories announced were a remote control app, and a keyboard. The launch date was set for Fall of this year.

Now it seems that we may have an exact date and time for when to expect Google TV. A leaked document from Best Buy shows that they will be selling the Logitech Revue, on October 17. This date is actually two weeks later than originally scheduled, as seen on the leaked document itself. Although Logitech itself has not revealed details, such as pricing and launch date, you can sign up on their website for up-to-the-minute announcements. Google TV will be world-wide by 2011.
