Google Voice is catching on so Google is trying to make it more useful, this time through a couple of new widgts for Android. One widget shows you the latest transcribed voicemails so you get access to them immediately, and the other is showing a bunch of different shortcuts to the Voice app, text messaging, call settings and a “Do Not Disturb” button.
Both widgets work just like any other widget, and you can get them from the Android Market right away. They might not work for users outside US where Google Voice currently works, but hopefully Google will soon bring Google Voice and VOIP integration in Android 3.0 and it will be available internationally by then, too.
