Some newly discovered benchmarks show that the Droid 2 world phone may be the fastest smartphone out there. In Quadrant’s benchmark it scored 1709 points and it was also revealed that its clock frequency runs to up to 1.2 Ghz.
Some people pointed out that even the Droid 1 could be overclocked to 1.2 Ghz, which means that the chips in both phones are not that different, though perhaps the one in Droid 2 uses less power at such a high clock frequency.
