This one is for all you current rooted phone users or possibly any people who want to step up to the rooting plate. The maker of the famous ROM manager Koushik Dutta has added a feature called Web Connect so if you see any particular kernel, rom or application that the makers of which support Web Connect then you can send straight from your browser via a link to your phones ROM Manager to take care of the install process. This is an awesome feature that will make the getting and trying out of ROM’s a much smoother and easier process.
All that is needed now is for developers to start supporting this in their threads and sites. I for one love this feature, now it is available for Froyo only devices but more and more devices are being upgraded to 2.2 everyday so I think that the take up with this will be huge. All you devs head on over to Koush’s site to get ya rom feeding to ROM Manager from the web, the setup looks easy, even I understood it. Get cooking devs!!!
