It is only a matter of time before Google TV arrives and Sony is prepared to lead the way. Since it is nearly October as it is, it doesn’t seem likely that Google TV will get its “official” launch this month. Google’s time frame was pretty accurate indicating that we would see Google TV arrive in the “Fall.” Sony just sent out invitations to their official unveiling of Google TV, promoted as the World’s First Internet TV. October 12th at 5:30pm, as the invitation states, with a press conference to follow promptly at 5:30pm.
There is no hiding the fact that this is the unveiling of Google TV, on a live unit. The display everyone has been waiting for. Sony is the first to implement Google’s Web-based video service designed to integrate Google search and other Web-based elements right into your television.
Mark the date on your calendar. That day, all eyes will be on Sony. Expect lots of reports right here on Androidheadlines.com with all the juicy details (and hopefully some video, too).
Are any of you interested in purchasing Sony’s Internet TV? What are your thoughts on Google TV, is it all that revolutionary?
