Wow, today has been full of news thanks to the HTC Event taking place in London. And the biggest news are the announcements of the Desire HD and the Desire Z handset phones. The Desire HD is being touted as the EVO for the rest of the world and the Desire Z is offering up a unique style of slide out QWERTY keyboard that we got a glimpse of with the upcoming G2 from T-Mobile. So instead of just combining specs for both of the phones let’s break them down separately. So let’s start with the Desire HD since that is the phone garnering the most attention.

The Desire HD is being compared to the EVO 4G and for good reason. Take a look at these specs:
