Hmm, I don’t understand German but from the numbers, it seemed like a promising devices, right? Right? Wrong…
This is a device that you do not want to replace the Ipad. Yes, it have 1,66 GHz processor as appose to the 1 GHz of the Ipad which make it a promising device that is faster than the Ipad. But before you go out to the door and grab this pad(?), you need to know that it has issues… a lot of issues.
Okay, now basically what the German company is thinking: Let’s build a tablet that rival the Ipad. It’s seem easy enough, just put a bigger processor and be done with it.
And that has cost them greatly. You will find the issues of the devices. Some people claimed that their Wetab won’t boot up. Others simply said that their Wetab won’t play HD videos. These two is a buzz kill but wait…there’s more. It won’t connect to UMTS, no apps store and many missing features.
Basically the owner of the Wetab just spent 569 Euros (approx. GBP 486 or US$ 759) for a China clone quality device.
