This little beauty has been popping up a lot lately, It’s the aluminum housed Acer Liquid Metal. We hear it has a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230-1 processor and has just cleared the FCC with GSM/EDGE 850/1900 and WCDMA Band II and V. This sounds like it would be perfect for AT&T. With Android 2.2, GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 3.6″ 800×480 screen this would be a great offering for AT&T. This great phone is slotted for an October launch in the UK, but will we see it in the U.S. ? Editor here at androidheadlines.com Chris Y. has spoken with Acer on this very issue. Acer told him that they don’t think they are quite ready to break into the U.S. market yet. They will more then likely release it to the north as Acer and Rogers in Canada have a good working relationship. If we do see it here in the U.S. it will more then likely come after CES. Until then we will just have to wait and see. Check out the FCC document below for more.
