With only 14 countries with access to the paid Android Market, not too many users were happy about not being able to see premium apps–until now. Google announced the addition of 18 countries with access to paid apps. This includes:
Europe: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden
Asia: Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Taiwan
Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico
These countries were also allowed to develop paid apps, and with the addition of these countries, there are now a total of 32 countries. One thing to note is that even with access to paid apps, you won’t necessarily have access to all of them, depending on if the developer has chosen to include your specific country. Now, let’s hope we can get more countries added soon.
