There are several browsers you can roll with when it comes to Android phones, and that’s always a good thing when it comes to Google phones, “choice”. Each browser offers many different features that may pull you to one instead of the other , the ability to run flash on a non-froyo phone to the super speeds on another browser. The biggest thing that we all can agree on is that it needs to be fast.
Luckily, PC World thought of a great idea to run some benchmark test to see where all these browsers stood when it came to speeds and the results are somewhat expected to say the least. Google’s stock browser has improved from 2.1 to 2.2 as they promised but others such as Fennec Alpha and especially the Dolphin browser was a shocker which pulled in last and second to last place. Our reigning champ was SKYFIRE 2.0 with 8 seconds.
No matter which browser you fancy, features will keep you on board until something new and flashy via update comes along and pulls you, I think chrome to phone is enough of a reason to stay with the stock browser but that’s just my opinion, what do you guys think?
