Hands-On with Motorola Droid Pro, The Android In A Business Suit

Well what do we have here?  Motorola just announced the Droid Pro.  Fans of the BlackBerry form will love this.  It has a 3.1″ touch screen with a full QWERTY underneath and our friends at androidcommunity.com got some hands on time with it.

The 1GHz OMAP 3620 processor is really quite snappy.  The thing that really steals the show is the keyboard,  It is very, very good.  Something you would almost have to expect from a keyboard that is out in the open and doesn’t slide or hide in any way.  The other details of this particular device is: 512MB of memory, and 2GB internal storage, 2.4GHz 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and supports tri-band UMTS.  There is also a physical button on the side that when you initially press it, the phone asks what you would like that button to do from then on.  Pretty nice if you ask me.

The fact that Motorola is targeting a market that few Android manufacturers are aiming at and the Moto-blur interface works with the keyboard gives this phone some serious potential. Don’t forget to check out the gallery below.
