Rogers To Launch LTE Trial In Ottawa Area

A source from Rogers Communication has let us know that the will be launching a LTE technical trial in the Ottawa area.  They have been testing LTE in the lab at various frequencies and have been able to pass data at a rate of up to 150 Mbps.  As the first carrier to roll out HSPA+ in North America at 21 Mbps they are very excited about LTE, as are we. There is no date mentioned but I am sure Ericsson Canada and Rogers would like to have it up and running before Verizon gets theirs.  Great news for Canada and great news for all of us if this trend continues.  If you would like to read the full press release hit up the link.   Rogers Press Release
