Never to shy away from a fight, the computer giant Dell is determined to make their not-so-successful Streak, the 5-inch Android based phone/tablet, more attractive to consumers. They’ll do this by selling the handset both unlocked, or locked for a minor discount. The Gorilla glass-covered, 5 MP camera with flash, MicroSD card, 512 MB RAM and 1 GHz powered CPU is now upgraded to Android 2.2 which will surely be a good draw card to potential buyers.
Listed below are the pricing and memory configurations for the Streak:
- $550 – 16 GB, locked to AT&T or $300 with 2-year contract
- $580 – 16 GB, unlocked
- $649 – 32 GB, locked to AT&T or $400 with 2-year contract
- $679 – 32 GB, unlocked
For your information, the standard black 16 GB version will be ready to ship straight away along with the Red version. They’ll be followed closely by the 32 GB versions which will be ready to ship from December 8.
