The HTC Desire HD cousin, Desire Z is being unboxes. Unlike its big brother, it has 3.7 inch WVGA screen with 800mhz processor (as opposed to HD’s 1 ghz) . Another addition that you will notice is the four row QWERTY keyboard. Connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, microUSB and quadband GSM/dualband HSPA, plus there’s GPS, an FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. RAM is 512MB – two-thirds of what the Desire HD offers – and there’s a 1.5GB ROM, along with a microSD card slot hidden underneath the battery. It sports the same new HTC sense on top of android 2.2 Froyo
Once it boot up, it will asks for HTC Sense Online credential along with other accounts. Then you will be prompt to sync your contacts. The built is quite steady in the hands but if you hold it on the top, the weight will pop the keyboard out. In essence, this phone is nicely built with a sturdy body. Check out some more pictures.
