I know we all remember how very disappointed we were with Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10. It seems that they are traveling up the road to redemption with this rumor that surfaced today in an email to the Xperia X10 Blog. This new device is to be called the Anzu and brags it’s going to be a Droid X killer. Set to be released in the first quarter of 2011, the Sony Ericsson Anzu features:
- 4.3″ display
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), although in this picture it’s running 2.1 update 1
- HDMI out
Could this be the phone that re-instills our faith in Sony Ericsson? With Gingerbread and a 4.3″ screen, I sure am excited. The device is described as “very,very slim” and looks to be styled like the Xperia X10. Now this is one BIG rumor, but I sure hope Sony Ericsson can keep to this and give us their redemption early this next year.
