It appears that a new Samsung Firmware has sprung out of the wood-work. Based on the above tweet, it may be the Nexus S. There are several problems however.
To begin with, it was thought that the Nexus S version number was going to be I9020, not I9200. Although, there is speculation that the I9020 was dropped because the testers did not like it. The successor to the Galaxy S was thought to be I9100. However, this firmware is too old to be the next-gen Galaxy S. In fact, it may not be Gingerbread at all, but if it’s Froyo it still may have some gems for us.
So, we really have no idea what this is, but the hackers at xda-developers are working on it. They are finding that it is difficult to extract and examine, but nothing deters them for long! Within a few days, certainly there will be new information.
Preliminary information states that this gadget uses a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and has a resolution of 800 x 480. Check back in a couple of days- you know we will keep you updated!
