We have been hearing about this for a very long time now, and it seems Bert Nordberg, the CEO of Sony Ericsson, is starting to open up. When asked about a PlayStation branded Sony Ericsson phone he simply said, “The future might be brighter.” Nordberg told The Wall Street Journal that Sony Ericsson is going to make a lot of “noise” in February at the Mobile World Congress. Could this stage for the official announcement we have all been waiting for?
When asked about the rumors and leaks, Nordberg said “There’s a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere.” Sounds pretty confirming doesn’t it? The WSJ speculates that it will actually be a Sony Ericsson Xperia phone to compromise with Sony Computer Entertainment. Either way we are really excited to see this finally come to light. Gamers, start the count down, The PlayStation Phone may be here sooner then we thought.
