According to recent reports, it looks the the HTC Knight it getting a new name. HTC has applied to Trademark the name “EVO Shift 4G”. This recent bit of news comes from Engadget, who said this would be the new official name once it launched. While not too much is known about the device, it will be a slider, and it is heading to Sprint, home of its older brother the EVO 4G. The rumored specs include a 3.7 inch screen, definitely smaller than the EVO’s 4.3 inch. The device is also said to lack a front-facing camera, so if that’s true, it doesn’t sound like there will be any video calling EVO 4G style. Since the device is still in the works, I’m assuming its features will be tweaked before release so it doesn’t embarass the original bad boy.
