It’s called AndFriends, and it helps you slog through the muck of the Android Market. The only issue is that you have to convince your friends to use it too. AndFriends is a lot like a meta social networking app, as in an app about finding apps through social networking. You go through your apps, and decide which ones are public and which are private. You can also write reviews of your apps within AndFriends, so that your friends can see why you chose these things.
It is very easy to get started, just sign in with your Google account, and it pulls in your contacts, immediately allowing you access to your friends’ lists. You then can connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts for pulling profile information.
There are some oddities, particularly the English grammar. The app is made by a Japanese company, milog, but it is not difficult to understand.
The biggest issue seems to be that you have to get all your fandroid friends to try it too. You are able to follow random people, but how much fun is that? Something that is really cool about the app is the addition of badges. You can get badges for such things as gaining followers or writing reviews. Also, there is a list of recommended people for you to follow, but it is unclear how they base those choices. When your friends install new apps, it will notify you in real time, which might get annoying so you can change that setting if you want.
