Google Voice Search "Learns" your Voice

Google has added voice recognition settings to their latest update of Google Voice Search. Voice recognition is definitely something new and often times it is hard for the application or software to not only understand what you are saying, but to recognize your voice. Google takes it a step further and attempts to perfect voice recognition by truly recognizing your voice.

The update comes with this option by selecting “improve speech recognition accuracy”. Basically what this does is personalize the app by training it to recognize your accent, inflections, speech pattern, style. In order to use it, you need to opt-in as this collects data to improve recognition each and every time. This is available to update immediately in the Market for devices with 2.2 or 2.3 and only in English in the U.S.
