Google will again push the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update to their cherished Nexus One smartphone first within the coming weeks. Oh thanks Google, as a Nexus One owner I just can’t wait to get Gingerbread. Did you just hit the software update button?
Patience is a virtue, and for those of you that wish to wait for Google’s official update it won’t be long. There are hacker builds out there, but beware, some are very buggy. Most of us are very dependent on our smartphones for anything from calls, texts, email, Facebook, Twitter, or just plain surfing the Web, so even if you may have to wait through the holidays let’s give Google time to get it right. I’ve been in the practice of waiting for Google, and have been very pleased with all my Android software updates going very smoothly.
