The Nexus S, made by Samsung, will be the first smartphone to feature Google’s next revision of Android, Gingerbread (Android OS 2.3), which brings a few visual refinements to the interface as well as a host of improvements under the hood. Carphone Warehouse is pricing the Nexus S at ₤549.95 on a pay-as-you-go option or free with a ₤35/month, two-year contract. Additionally, the phone can be purchased unlocked and SIM free for ₤549.95.
