HTC EVO Shift 4G Landing at Best Buy for $150

The HTC EVO Shift 4G has been popping up lately in sneak peaks and spy-shots on the Web, but if Best Buy is any indicator, the device may soon be available for purchase.

According to sources who passed this on to Android Police, the HTC EVO Shift 4G is showing up in Best Buy’s system at $150 on a 2-year contract, and $550 without contract. No word yet as to what the device will cost at a Sprint store, but $199 with mail-in rebate is a good guess.

Details about the EVO Shift 4G are still sketchy. We do know that it’s a slightly smaller version of the EVO 4G that includes a 4-row physical QWERTY keyboard. The EVO Shift is rumored to have an 800 MHz processor under the hood and be WiMax ready. Also, while there’s no official word yet regarding the OS, most speculators suspect that it will ship with 2.3 Gingerbread and, naturally, Sense UI over top.

All of these questions are expected to be officially answered at the upcoming CES in January.
