While the amount of applications you have available doesn’t necessarily mean that they are all worth getting, our friends at Mobile Syrup are reporting that Android has hit 225,000 Apps (or should we say “items”) in the Android Market. The only other competitor in the mobile space with more would be Apple, who has about 300,000 currently. With the amount of new phones coming out this year for Android I’m sure they can easily break 400,000 this year. Lets just hope now that a larger amount of them are quality, worthwhile downloads!
