Looks like we will soon have another medium for Google and Apple to fight for supremacy over. According to The Wall Street Journal, Google is in talks with Time Warner, Cond© Nast and Hearst to offer their publications through a new Android “digital newsstand”.
These top U.S. publishers will be happy to find an easy way to get paid for their publications, not to mention Google takes a smaller piece than the 30 percent taken by Apple and Amazon. Google said they are always in discussions with publishers and they have nothing new to announce at this time.
