A recent leak to site GizmoFusion could finally put to rest the speculation about Google’s long in the works cloud-based music feature. The screenshot above is rumored to be from a device running Android Gingerbread OS. It shows the newly included “Sync Music” option, which would allow you to sync up, just as you would with your systems current sync list with Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc. One of the site’s early theories is the possibility of a Google powered iTunes rival looming on the horizon. It’s a little too early to guess what Google has in mind, this could just be a new feature in Gingerbread OS and nothing more. The music service/cloud rumor has been out for a while, still with nothing to show. If the picture above is legit, we could at least be a step closer to a final product.
