Google does not have an app yet for the weather info they provide on their search engine, but has now made it more “app-like” when going through the browser. Google Mobile posted on their blog that they have now added a slider feature to the weather info given. From the Google search address bar, just type in weather and you will get the usual–current conditions and forecast for the rest of the day and three days following. Now, you will notice a button that when you slide it, changes the image and the specific conditions to match the forecast for the specific time and even changes the background color. You can also scroll past the weather info to look at other web searches. Does it beat a weather app or widget? Maybe not, but certainly does provide an alternative when you are in the browser.
