Calling all Nexus S owners. If you are the proud owner of Samsung’s flagship, then you might have come across the random reboot bug which was reported by us. The Google’s bug tracking thread for this particular problem was in turmoil for a long time after having huge amount of comments filling up. After all this, the issue/bug was declined by a Google employee, which started a public protest leading to reopen the thread.
But, this was not the end. The thread was closed again by a different employee. Well, the thread was resumed which does make you wonder that Google employees should stop playing around and interact with each other. Google defended themselves by saying that they already had the issue reported in their Mobile Help Forum and they wanted to bring down the feedback to a single location.
One of the guys from the Android team, Ry Guy, gave a strong and promising response to the Google Mobile Help thread:
Hello again everyone,
The initial results of our tests look very promising. At this rate we will most likely be rolling out an OTA to resolve this issue within one to two weeks. We really appreciate your patience as we do our final verification on this fix before sending it out.

Well, there you go. Android team have promised an OTA notification within one to two weeks. Hopefully, there would be no problems during testing and Nexus S owners would be gifted with the update.
