Mobile World Congress(MWC) had full of surprises which was held this year and now it has become the past. CeBit is almost six days from taking place in Germany this year. On this bombshell, Chinese manufacturer Hanvon decided to give a peek on their latest tablet/e-reader for the German market.
The tablet is named as Hanvon HPad A112 and it seems to have the e-reader touch than a tablet. The HPad A112 aims to focus at media such as newspapers, magazines and digital books. The device seems to be underpowered by its ARM 11 processor which is clocked at 720 MHz. There are options available for 256 MB or 512 MB RAM. The HPad A112 features 7-inch TFT screen(capacitive or resistive options) with 800 x 600 resolution and Android 2.2 Froyo as its operating system.
The device has a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera. It supports various video formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, ASF, MKV, RMVB and so on. But the best part is that it also supports H.264 up to 1080p. It also handles various text and audio formats. The HPad A112 also has a USB, mini-USB and HDMI port along with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers WiFi and Bluetooth with 3G and GPS as options. It also has 2 GB internal storage along with slot for microSD up to 32 GB.
