The Samsung Continuum has been around for a few months and kept in the dark corners of the smartphone modding regime. Now, there are some hacks available for the device. It is a flashable application which allows you have options such as Reboot, Recovery and Download. These options are added to the master menu when the power button is held down. The application is still incomplete and has some bugs. The developer posted the application at XDA developers forums. The developer does not own a Samsung Continuum and requires your feedback to deal with bugs.
As far as the device was concerned, he mentioned in the post,
“This requires a deodexed system and CWM recovery, and the ROM from Adrynalyne would probably be a good start since that’s where I pulled the files from. I’ve included the stock files as well if it doesn’t work, so I’d download both, flash the reboot_options.zip and see if it works.“
It would helpful for other users, if this application is fixed. Samsung Continuum is just the beginning and who knows later down the road, the developer might do for other devices too. The best part added to the master menu which is the download mode (reboot to download) and it can be very useful. For more details on this application, check the developer’s post.
