“Let it never be said that your anal-retentive attention to detail never yielded positive results!” is exactly what I would say to the person who found this little piece of information. The HTC homepage spewed out a list of specs (most of which we already knew about) for the upcoming HTC Incredible S and the HTC Flyer, but a set of AWS bands is what has caught everyone’s attention.
“Why do we care about some dumb ol’ bands?” you might ponder. Well the answer is simple, this means that the possibility of this dynamic duo heading to T-Mobile in the future is looking pretty bright, and daddy needs his shades.
And who wouldn’t want to have an HTC Incredible S that is so stylishly crafted, which by the way includes a sexy 1 GHz Snapdragon under the hood, along with an 8 megapixel camera that can shoot high definition 720p quality, add a huge 4 inch WVGA touchscreen to watch and share your favorite memories and plug in your headphones to experience everything in Surround Sound brought to you by SRS WOW HDâ„¢. Throw in a front-facing camera along with the possibility of this marvel of engineering running on T-Mobile’s 3G/4G networks, you pretty much have all the little girlies lined up crying and screaming to get their hands on this stud.
As mentioned the HTC Flyer tablet we announced earlier this week will also include an AWS band. So imagine, if you will, having a 7 inch tablet running off T-Mobile’s 3G/4G network. Imagine the blazing performance displayed by this 1.5 GHz single core processor along with having 32 GB of internal storage to save all your movies, photos and music on. One thing missing, lots of RAM… No wait you get 1 Gb! All this and it weighs in under 15 ounces.
I know, I know this is just a speculation that they might be picked up by T-Mobile, but I have to say it’s a well-informed decision. This doesn’t take away from the fact that these two devices will bring any user, on any carrier, utter satisfaction to the brink of Nirvana.
