Electronics super company Texas Instruments just announced via invitation that they will be holding a “virtual” press conference to be held on February 7th. What’s the conference about? We have no idea, but the belief right now is that TI might show off their dual core OMAP4 processor, maybe with 3D capabilities? According to the banner on the invite, “transforming the concept of mobile” could mean just about anything at this point.
It might only be a coincidence, but happening the same day will be Sprint’s big press event/announcement that everyone has been waiting for. Maybe we will be seeing a TI “virtual” conference broadcast direct from Sprint’s exclusive event all from a dual core, 3D Android! Okay, so that might be reading a little too much into things so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens on the 7th.
