Sprint Nexus S 4G To Be Pure Google, No Touchwiz Here Folks

Although the page has now been taken down it looks like thanks to one of Engadget’s curious tipsters that we can now confirm what was already expected, that the Sprint Nexus S 4G will be a pure Google experience phone.

For People Who Love Pure Google

For people who love Sprints network and are due an upgrade (or feel like upgrading early) this could be the phone for you. With it being the in the Nexus line of phones you can rest assured that you receive the latest updates that put you at the cutting edge of  the Android OS. As a former Nexus One and current Nexus S user I can tell you there is nothing better than seeing the latest version of Android being shown off by Google and knowing that you could be receiving that very same version in a matter of weeks.

Official Announcement At CTIA

With such a leak this close to CTIA later in the week it seems inevitable that we should expect an official announcement then. We should also expect confirmation on its specs matching what is on the existing Nexus S phones. With a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 512 MB RAM, 16 GB storage, 4in Super AMOLED curved glass touchscreen and Android 2.3 Gingerbread this phone is not slouch with or without the added 4G.
